The One-Bowl Banana Bread

Instructions

    Preheat and prep

    Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease a loaf tin and set aside.

    Mix the wet ingredients

    In a large bowl mash the bananas until smooth. Add the melted butter, Liquid Whole Egg and vanilla. Mix until combined.

    Add the dry ingredients

    Add sugar, baking soda and salt. Fold in the flour gently, do not overmix or the bread will be dense.

    Bake

    Pour into the loaf tin and bake for 45 minutes until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

    Cool and serve

    Let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes before slicing.

Chef's Tips

The riper the bananas the sweeter and more flavourful the bread. Overripe black bananas are perfect. Add a handful of chocolate chips or walnuts for extra texture.
